Jason Bateman is an American actor, film director, and producer, born on 14 January 1969 in Rye (New York State). He began his acting career at a very young age and gained critical recognition in 2003 with a role in the comedy series Arrested Development. He then made his mark in cinema with second roles in the hit films Juno (2007) and Hancock (2008). Then he became the headliner of the comedies Extract (2009), The Switch (2010), Horrible Bosses, Change Up (2011), Identify Thief (2013), Horrible Bosses II (2014), Office Chrismas Party (2016) and Game Night (2018).

Jason Bateman began his acting career at a very young age in the series The Little House on the Prairie, where he played from 1981 to 1982 the role of James Cooper Ingalls. He quickly became a star in the 1980s by participating in television series such as Ricky or The good Life and It's Your Move. He is also the youngest director accredited by the Directors Guild of America, having directed three episodes at the age of eighteen for The Hogan Family, a soap opera in which he also participated as an actor.
